Hi, my name is Frank Ferrer. I am the President of MFMCI, the third largest provider of language and interpretation equipment in the country. I'm also the President of MFM Global, which is a production and event company. In addition, I'm Executive Vice President of Alcomm Rentals, a production and equipment rental company. I've been a user of IntelliEvent Express for years (one of the original users), and any future buyer will benefit from understanding “why" I purchased it.
Before IntelliEvent Express we used quickbooks, and although quickbooks was very good at the beginning stages of the business, it didn’t give us inventory management or control of job invoicing (when they were and were not invoiced). In the past, during the busy season, employees would be scrambling around because they forgot a job quote was created and it spiraled into chaos and disorganization. Thankfully, from the moment I bought Express the disorganization ended. It gave us the control we were looking for. One of the features we’ve really benefited from is a dashboard that tells you every job you've quoted. It tells you what process it’s in, whether or not it has been confirmed, and whether or not it’s tentative. It offers the ability to instantaneously see exactly what you have for that month, the month prior, and you can even go back and see many months prior. It really gives you amazing operational control. Whether you’re a small or big business, I strongly recommend using an inventory management software such as Express because it allows you to track your equipment and quoted jobs, as well as manage your operation more efficiently.
As I mentioned, we've been with IntelliEvent from the start. One of the best examples of how our partnership has flourished is the amount of growth we’ve experienced since we’ve started using their software. With the help of IntelliEvent, we have grown to multiple cities we operate from, and Express has allowed for the tracking of operations of each location from the convenience of our headquarters in Miami. For example, we set up all our locations with independent inventory, and from HQ I can see exactly what Atlanta and Washington D.C. are selling, and what’s coming and going on a daily basis. This is a great little feature, which is a great rental management software tool.
All these features I’ve mentioned positively contribute to ROI. As a manager, you want to see every piece of equipment purchased, how well it’s doing, and whether there is a positive return on investment. For every piece of gear you want to see exactly how many times it's gone out, how much you billed for it, and how much you made. Express has made this seamless.
Finally, I want to highlight IntelliEvents customer service and support . Anytime you call for help or support, they get back to you within 24 hours. I've never had any issues. I’m on a first name basis with many of the guys, and as such, if I need something customized I just call them and they'll give me a reasonable price. They’ll also design it specifically to my needs.
