Can I customize my proposal?
The headers on the proposals are completely customizable and can be adjusted to fit your business needs. We also have a number of different grid types allowing you to show as much, or as little of information necessary.
Can I do both rentals and sales using Lightning?
When adding products to a job, there will be a drop down for duration. The duration allows you to determine how long the product will be on the job. There are options for Days, Weeks, Months, or Sale. If you select an item as a Sale item, it will take the quantity and remove it from your owned and stock counts.
Can I tie jobs together?
You can tie jobs together using our Projects tab on the main job page. On the right hand side of the main job page there is a blue tab labeled Projects. By clicking on this tab it will bring you to another screen with tabs at the top. One tab reads “Append Existing Job to Project”. This will allow you to add a job that was already created in Lightning to this project. There is another option labeled “Add New Job to Project”. This will allow you to create a new job from start to finish, but still tie it back to this project.
Can you delete a job?
You cannot delete jobs in Lightning, but you can make them Inactive. The reason why we do not have the option to delete jobs in Lightning is because of reporting purposes. We want you to be able to track the jobs that were lost, the amount, and why the jobs were lost for future reference.

What does each Job Status mean?
Is the Job change log automatic?
The job change log is automatic. Any adjustments that are made to the job will populate in the change log. There is the option to add a manual note to the change log if need be. The change log will display which user made the adjustment, the date and time, and a note to let you know what was adjusted.
