Trade shows can be exhausting. Especially as an exhibitor late in the afternoon when there’s only one or two hours left before you get to rip off those dress shoes and kick the feet up.
However, I’m sure exhibitors and attendees alike would agree that quality beats quantity. These last couple hours can bear some of the best business partnerships of your whole show.
That was the case at LDI 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada, when the Shoreline AV (Suffield, CT) team wandered by the IntelliEvent booth.
Members of the Shoreline AV team were familiar with IntelliEvent’s products and services prior to meeting at LDI. Their lead lighting technician used Express in addition to helping implement Lightning at Majic Productions (Brookfield, WI). They also work regularly with longtime IntelliEvent partner MassAV (Tewksbury, MA) who had recently upgraded from Express to Lightning.
To that point, Shoreline AV was running their company on QuickBooks Online. They were looking for a more robust, customizable software solution, including improved inventory management, labor scheduling and control over their quoting and invoicing process.

Since signing up the transition has moved at a fast, yet steady pace. The Shoreline AV team took their time training and familiarizing themselves with the system so there were no hiccups when they went live to start the New Year. Constant communication and taking advantage of the resources provided by IntelliEvent allowed them to make the move with confidence.
