If your fiscal year end is the calendar year end, then the first time IntelliEvent Express is opened after the 1st of the year the following prompt will appear:

 

If you would like to automatically change your job number format to use the prefix for the new year (in this case 10) and restart job numbering at 1 for new jobs, then press yes. (ex: 101-1, 102-1, 103-1, etc.)

If you would like to continue on with the current job number sequence you are using, then click no.

 

To manually change the prefix and to set the starting job number follow the directions below:

 

Press the Index button.

 

You can manually change when your fiscal year starts, the year prefix and beginning job number.
