Phoenix, Ariz. / April 7, 2009 – IntelliEvent, the world’s leading provider of inventory control and event management software, is proud to announce the developments of one of its oldest friends in the industry.
Video WallTronics, the nation’s premier source for LED screen rentals, has been an IntelliEvent partner since 2007. But the bond between the two companies dates back much longer than that.
“I met [IntelliEvent founder] Don [Romeka] in 1995,” Video WallTronics president Mitch D. Kaplan said. “We became acquainted through friends in the industry and he’s the No. 1 reason why we chose IntelliEvent. Don is one of the most persistent people I have ever met and I love working with those kind of people. He really believes in the value of his software and knows what it can do for people.”
Video WallTronics is on the verge of unveiling the latest in its line of state-of-the-art Mobile All-Terrain Vehicle display screens. The FireFly will be unveiled on May 3 at the Winterthur Museum & Country Estate in Greenville, Del. for Point-to-Point, a National Steeple Chase sanctioned event.
The 13-foot-by-17-foot screen features 7-millimeter pixels and a much sharper picture than the competition. Unlike its predecessor, the Drag & Fly, the FireFly is a lightweight model that doesn’t include an editing bay. Since it’s so much lighter, Video WallTronics is able to tow the FireFly on a hitched trailer. Once the FireFly reaches its destination, Video WallTronics is able to unhitch the trailer and let the FireFly stand alone with no eyesore attached.
The Point-to-Point event will be the first live sporting event featuring Video WallTronics, but the company has a plethora experience in various other arenas. Video WallTronics has also been featured at Columbia University for its graduation and for President Obama’s inauguration. It has also helped out Philadelphia to honor fallen firefighters and police during their final processions, as well as Lance Armstrong’s LiveStrong foundation.
IntelliEvent has been a proud partner with Video WallTronics throughout the years and is happy to help them be the best in the industry
“IntelliEvent is just so easy to use,” Kaplan said. “Customers particularly like the way each cost is broken down so they know exactly what they’re paying for. We get thank you’s for that all the time.”
Romeka said he’s glad to help out an old friend in the business.
“We’re happy to be an integral part of Mitch and his company’s success,” IntelliEvent CEO Don Romeka said. “We’ve been friends for a very long time and I’ve never doubted his ability to become the best in the industry. It’s just so awesome to see him take Video WallTronics to the next level.”
