April 28, 2009 / Phoenix, Ariz. –- IntelliEvent, the world’s finest source of inventory control and event management software, is proud to announce it has formed a partnership with Rocky Mountain Production Services.
Established in 1979, Vancouver-based Rocky Mountain is a full services event technology company that supplies complete lighting, audio and video systems including operators and technical management.
“The client's success is our success,” Rocky Mountain president Fred Michael said. “Whether it's two speakers on stands for a wedding or an LED wall for 40,000 people, we are not happy unless the client is.”
From its preliminary discussions with Rocky Mountain, IntelliEvent knew it was dealing with a unique partner in the industry.
“It was really special for us to earn Rocky Mountain’s trust,” IntelliEvent CEO Don Romeka said. “After talking to them for some time now, it’s obvious that they are world-class operation. We’ve been so impressed from the way their company is run from the top down and it’s easy to see why the Olympics tabbed them for the Winter Games in 2010.”
Though the Olympics are nearly a year away, Rocky Mountain has already completed several Olympics-related jobs including major venue upgrades, Paralympic logo launch, cultural Olympiad concerts and other public events. During the Winter Games themselves, Rocky Mountain expects to be very busy with both sports venue technical support and cultural events.
With the aid of IntelliEvent, Rocky Mountain will bring the Olympics to the people. With such a big job up ahead, Rocky Mountain needed software that could handle the demands of the world’s single-greatest event.
“As a growing company, we could not get the level of support required to manage our inventory properly,” Michael said. “Also, the program we were using was much too limited in its ability to integrate all of the information connected to our larger jobs. We were spending too much time trying to merge various spreadsheets with the program.
“The IntelliEvent presentation convinced us that all of our equipment and information management needs would be satisfied by the program, we would get the level of support we need on an ongoing basis, and the price and terms were right for our business.”
After looking at a couple other options, Rocky Mountain selected IntelliEvent based on the software’s ability to handle information and create customizable reports that can be accessed for later use.
“We look forward to a prosperous and long-lasting partnership with Rocky Mountain,” Romeka said. “IntelliEvent is just so proud to have earned the respect of such an impeccable organization. With our help, we see no end to the capabilities of Rocky Mountain.
