Salinas, CA - June 13, 2008 - IntelliEvent, the leading supplier of software in the Event Resource and Supply Industry, announced the signing of KVL Audio Visual Services of Ardsley, New York.
Founded in 1976, KVL Visual Services is one of the largest suppliers of audio visual equipment rental and staging services in North America, with international offices in
Canada and the
Caribbean.
KVL's primary businesses include audio visual outsourcing to hotels, convention centers and corporations; trade show and event staging; design and instillation; and equipment sales.
KVL opened its first 'in-hotel' audio visual office in
Westchester County (
New York) over three decades ago and has expanded to more than 70 such offices since.
The business has grown tremendously since its inception and now features several divisions within its company.
The Event and Trade Show Staging Division boasts major Fortune 500 clients along with other prominent names in the Trade Show and Convention Management field.
The Design and Instillation Division is responsible for hundreds of installations from major sound systems to corporate board rooms to night clubs to museums.
The Equipment Sales Division offers state-of-the-art products from over 100 audio visual equipment manufacturers.
With a growing business, KVL needed inventory control software that could keep pace with the expanding company.
"We needed a better way to track our equipment," KVL chief financial officer Nick Prignano said about his company's search for inventory control software. "We looked at a number of products and spent quite a bit of time looking for inventory control software. We landed on IntelliEvent because of the flexibility of the software and its functionality."
Once he looked around the market for a product to help his company grow, Prignano elected to sign on with IntelliEvent.
"After many years of working to build a strong relationship with the KVL team, we were able to earn enough trust to earn their partnership," IntelliEvent Vice President of sales and marketing Andrew Ehler said. "Through our many meetings and conversations, IntelliEvent was able to show where the software's versatility could impact their business."
Prignano added that IntelliEvent Express"has improved the bottom line of our company and enabled us to make better business decisions. From scheduling and tracking labor, equipment usage and helping us make smarter equipment purchases."
